Call for papers

Social networks have emerged in the last decade as an indispensable tool in daily life. Development of social networks has a high impact on society. Online Social networks are one of the latest revolutions that have taken the world by storm; they are so popular nowadays that people want to use them anytime and everywhere through heterogeneous devices in order to facilitate human interaction as well as creating professional relationships. In the context of the digital-world, the internet and Social Networks have contributed immensely in generating Big Data pools.

The IWSNA will serve as a platform to cover the recent technical advancements and social issues regarding social networks and its importance in surveillance of the society. The IWSNA will be held in Shanghai, China in December, 2015. It provides a forum for researchers world-wide to present their latest work in social networks analysis and its application, and to show how this research can be used to social innovation.

Topics

We encourage submissions on theoretical as well as experimental studies related to all aspects of social netwoks analysis and its applications. Topics of interests include, but are NOT limited to, the following categories:

·         Analysis and modelling of online social network structure;

·         Analysis of discovery and evolution of social community;

·         User behaviour analysis in online social networks;

·         Online social network emotion;

·         The influence mechanism of individual and group influence theory;

·         Personalized recommendation and link prediction method;

·         Social network content representation and management;

·         Social network information retrieval;

·         Modelling and prediction of online social network information dissemination;

·         Discovery and evolution of online social networks.
